According to the recently released FBI notes on Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s interview, she was uncertain about the fundamentals and daunted by the intricacies of using a private server; instead of the official State Department communications system with its established protocols.
Apparently she consulted former Secretary of State Colin Powell with regard to his method of communicating and corresponding during his tenure. Emails attesting to the exchange have just been conveniently released with the obvious intent of vindicating Clinton; however they do anything but vindicate her.
The emails are immediately suspect because Hillary Clinton initiated the correspondence and she consulted Colin Powell rather than her immediate predecessor, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who would have had the most current information on State Department communication protocols; or Clinton could have consulted the NSA. The fact that she did neither suggests that Clinton had prior knowledge of Powell’s methods and contacted him not seeking information but a scapegoat; so that the email paper trail was not incidental but deliberate.
The question then is did Hillary Clinton make a mistake, as she claims, because she was confused; or did she contrive a “plausible deniability” scenario in the event her contravention of State Department protocols was discovered; implicitly ascribing culpability to Colin Powell.
The latter seems more likely because it is consistent with Clinton ascribing culpability for the deaths of the four Americans in Benghazi to the dead Americans; who ironically were the only witnesses who could refute Clinton’s account; again creating a “plausible deniability” scenario.
Clinton also refuses to accept responsibility for failing to advise President Obama against premature withdrawal from Iraq. A failure which resulted in the arming and fortification of ISIS.
Regardless of what Colin Powell told Hillary Clinton, the decision was hers; and Powell bears no responsibility for her actions. Either she made a bad decision to use a system she was not competent to use or she was engaged in something more nefarious.
Hillary Clinton has established a clear pattern of incompetence and conniving methods of evading culpability.
Regardless of what Obama says Hillary Clinton was not fit to be Secretary of State and is definitely not fit to be President of the United States.
