It cost American taxpayers tens of millions of dollars to supposedly investigate spurious allegations of “Russian meddling” in a US election, in which the President was allegedly complicit. In actuality it was an attempt to disenfranchise American voters and invalidate the President’s victory.
For nearly two years Robert Mueller and his 17 lawyer crew were paid by taxpayers; his ancillary staff was paid by taxpayers; their expenses were paid by taxpayers; and in the end Mueller found that no one had interfered in the 2016 election in any palpable way.
Mueller did, however, issue several bogus indictments and trample the 4th and 5th amendment rights to due process and protection against unreasonable search and seizure of several of the President’s associates in order to gain convictions on unrelated matters; after which he offered them deals in exchange for “dirt” on the President.
The President of the United States is the head of federal law enforcement and as such it is his prerogative to personally conduct investigations. He was aware that there were some dubious circumstances involving Joe Biden and his son’s business dealings in a foreign country.
In the unlikely event that Biden became President in 2020, it is possible that those dealings could be the impetus for republicans to launch another expensive Mueller style investigation against Biden, were it not for the President’s preemptive preliminary inquiry; which would either bring to light any wrongdoing or provide Biden a clean bill of health.
Unfortunately the US House of Representative and media have been campaigning against the President’s reelection since the day he was elected, so they are trying to contrive a nefarious narrative from the President’s lawful execution of the powers of his office; even to the point of violating the “US” Constitution. There is no constitutional founding for a so called “impeachment inquiry”.
The US House of Representatives needs to be purged.
